As a general undergraduate medical college established earlier in New China in ethnic minority areas, Baotou Medical College recruited five-year undergraduate students majoring in clinical medicine in the year of its establishment.

Rename History:

• In 1959 and 1961, Baotou City Health School and Inner Mongolia Health Cadre Training College were successively merged into Baotou Medical College.
• In 1965, it was changed to Baotou Medical College.
• In 1978, the Ministry of Education approved the restoration of Baotou Medical College.
• In June 2003, the Ministry of Education decided to merge Baotou Medical College with Baotou Iron and Steel College and Baotou Teachers College to form Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology.
• Now, IMUST Baotou Medical College of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology.

Baotou Medical College MBBS Fee Structure 2022:

MBBS Course Duration = 06 years (5 years Medical study+1 year Clinical internship)
Degree Awarding = Clinical Medicine MBBS
Graduation Year = March 2022 – January 2028

Admission Criteria:

• Student Must have 60% Marks in English & Biology, 50% Marks in Physics & Chemistry.
• Student must be under the age of 18-25 for Bachelor Degree.
• Student Needs to pass HSK4 by the end of First year to promote in MBBS Program of 5 years.

Application Fee + Registration Fee  = 1500 RMB

First Year Fee :  33,000 RMB (approx. 5200 U$D)

Tuition Fee	13,000 RMB
Management Charges	20,000 RMB
